My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The location was amazing, right on the river with easy access to Cumberland Island, but the noise from the bar below made the nights difficult. The service was exceptional and pet-friendly, which I loved, but the cleanliness of the room was questionable. The dining options were decent for a quick bite, and the facilities were basic but functional.

Rooms
5.0
The room was on the second floor, but above a noisy bar with karaoke until 11 PM and loud conversations until 1 AM. The cleanliness left much to be desired.
Service
9.0
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Being pet-friendly was a big plus for me.

I was thrilled with the hotel's great location across from the water and the ferry to Cumberland Island. The rooms were clean and rustic, although I left a day early due to the filthy bathroom. The service was personable, and I appreciated the pet-friendly policy. However, the boxed pastries with price tags for breakfast were not ideal. A mixed experience but with potential.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms had a rustic charm and were generally clean, but the bathroom was disappointingly filthy, prompting me to cut my stay short.
Service
8.0
The hotel's service was personal and accommodating, with a lovely touch for pet lovers. However, the breakfast presentation could have been better.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is its strong suit, offering stunning sunrise views and easy access to local restaurants, shops, and the ferry to Cumberland Island.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast provided, with boxed pastries from a local market, was underwhelming as they were served in the original boxes with visible price tags, but the open veranda added a nice touch to the dining experience.
Facilities
Although not elaborated upon, the facilities seem to be adequate for a comfortable stay.

The hotel's location is excellent, with a nice view and close proximity to the Cumberland Ferry. The rooms could benefit from some noise reduction due to loud activities in the bar below and outside balcony noise at night. The service was friendly, though in need of a refresh. The dining experience had a special touch with homemade pound cake, but fell short on offering a balanced menu. Overall, a convenient spot with some room for improvement.
